The Barnard House is a 1893 Victorian home set along the Allegheny River in the historic town of Emlenton. Our colorful home offers itself to our guest. Come relax within the many nostalgic rooms or lounge on the large porches with wonderful vistas of the river and forest. Enjoy the many opportunities to recreate in our valley's river, creeks, lakes and forest or travel along," The Erie to Pittsburgh Trail" which is at our front door and follows the Allegheny for miles. Kick it in our hot tub surrounded by a recycled bottle wall. Enjoy the garden patio or sit at an outdoor fire with a river view. This is a historical renovation Only better. Kathy and Paul did their best to make my family feel welcome and at home. We have visited now on several occasions and look forward to returning again.
