Baptist Homes

Baptist Home was founded in 1910, and is located in Pittsburgh. It is a senior living, nonprofit organization, serving more than 300 adults who require age, illness and disability-related assistance. It is a Continuing Care Accreditation Commission-approved facility, providing health care, assisted and independent living, and support services. The organization offers a wide variety of facilities, including skilled nursing, medication for Alzheimer s disease, assisted and independent living, wellness, retirement community and rehabilitation therapies, such as physical, occupational and speech. It also includes social, spiritual care, physician, medical specialists, hospice and hair care, and gift shop services. Baptist Homes organizes various daily, evening and weekend programs, such as pet and music therapies, Internet access, bingo, bridge, cooking, crafts, book reviews, travelogues and exercise groups. It is affiliated with American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.
