The Bach Choir of Pittsburgh, founded in 1934, began as a dedicated ensemble performing the works of Johann Sebastian Bach and has since evolved into a diverse choir that presents major choral works spanning from the Renaissance to contemporary compositions. Currently featuring approximately 75 members, including a 16-person core of professional singers, the choir produces a three-production concert season in unique venues around Pittsburgh, alongside a Summer Sing educational program each June.
