African Sisters Education Collaborative (ASEC) is an organization that provides education opportunities to Catholic nuns in Africa. Through their programs, such as Sisters Leadership Development Initiative (SLDI) and Higher Education for Sisters in Africa (HESA), ASEC aims to improve the ability of African sisters to serve their communities. By educating and empowering these sisters, ASEC believes that they can make a significant impact in addressing the challenges of poverty, hunger, disease, ecological degradation, and violence in Africa.

ASEC's programs focus on improving healthcare, food security, access to clean water, and giving voices to marginalized individuals. They also support and strengthen African congregations from within, mentor others, create jobs, and provide care for the young, old, and forgotten. With their humble beginnings, ASEC has served over 5,300 sisters stakeholders, resulting in incredible outcomes such as serving over 2.2 million people, raising $19.5 million in funding for community projects, and creating 3,800 jobs in under-served rural African communities.
