Miriam Reder, PhD, is a psychologist with AHN Behavioral Health, specializing in women’s health, perinatal health, and ADHD evaluations for adults. She is skilled at perinatal mood/anxiety disorders, trauma, and eating disorders, with a focus on women and young adults. Dr. Reder received her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. She did her psychology internship at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Reder completed her fellowship in women’s behavioral health, PTSD, and ADHD evaluations for adults with Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Reder is associated with the American Psychological Association and the Association of Psychologists in Academic Health Centers. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care that accounts for contextual and cultural factors, prioritizes creating a strong therapeutic relationship, and uses individually tailored approaches to allow for exploration, growth, and recovery to occur. Dr. Reder sees patients ages 18 and older.

Marissa Barash, PsyD Marissa Barash, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist specializing in health psychology, chronic pain, women’s behavioral health, eating disorders, and body image distress. Dr. Barash also provides comprehensive evaluations for spinal cord stimulators, bariatric surgery, heart transplants, and pre-surgical assessments for cancer patients. Her expertise extends to managing anxiety, depression, and OCD through evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and supportive psychotherapy. Dr. Barash earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and completed her undergraduate studies at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Carnegie Mellon University counseling center and a fellowship at the WPIC Center for Eating Disorders in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Barash welcomes young adult patients as well as patients 18 and older.

Leah Bauer, LCSW Leah Bauer is a behavior health clinician (LCSW) who specializes in post-traumatic stress disorder in children and adolescents. Her focus areas include cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. She sees patients ages 3-24 and speaks English. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania, and her certificate in mental health from the School of Social Work Graduate Program at University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Leah is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Pennsylvania whose philosophy is that every patient is unique and should have treatment tailored to their individual needs.
