Arc Westmoreland

The Arc of Westmoreland, founded in 1954, is a private nonprofit corporation that provides services to individuals with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization operates more than 20 group homes in Westmoreland County in Pennsylvania and has over 100 residential employees. The Arc of Westmoreland employs several educational advocates who work with students and their families with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities. Its staff also includes developmental teachers, behavioral consultations, play groups and parent training experts. The Arc of Westmoreland additionally provides hearing, nutritional, occupational, physical, speech and vision therapies. The organization also offers family support, transitioning, continuing education and social activities. The Arc of Westmoreland is located in Greensburg, Pa.
