History
APCO Pool Specialties, Inc. is owned by Alan Pastorek. He has been in the pool industry since 1981 in capacities ranging from the building and construction of new pools for other name brand companies to his current position in APCO Pools. Along the way Alan spent 15 years in the aerospace industry as a mechanical specialist building and launching communication satellites from locations around the world. He has also worked for several years as a mechanical technician in the building and deployment of professional sports broadcasting equipment. All the while he has been providing prompt & professional service in Pennsylvania and New Jersey to his swimming pool customers who were urging him to go out on his own. In 2003 Alan needed a change from the corporate world and started APCO Pools. Alan is a supporter of the NESPA organization and the goals they represent. He strives to make every pool to be a safe and fun place for families to enjoy.
