Bread is the heart of Allegro. Everyday, using quality ingredients, we mix only enough dough for the next day. Our loaves are hand formed & baked on a stone hearth. It is our starter, which has been nurtured for years, that imparts the distinct flavor in our breads. Remember the cookies and brownies that you helped make as a kid? At Allegro, we bring that same homemade care and attention to all our pastries. We use no artificial flavors, preservatives, or coloring in any of our recipes.
