History

When I was young back in the 80s.My dad and uncle's construction business was doing great, which meant lots of hours helping him after school and on weekends as I got older. I learned paving & masonry techniques from my dad and his crew and saw first hand what it was like to own a small business. At a young age I was inspired by my dad and uncle Mike to start my own company, So in the 2,000s I began Active Paving & Masonry. Since then, Active Paving & Masonry has been serving residential and commercial customers in Philadelphia's suburbs. My company specializes in driveways and parking lots, patios and walkways, stone and retaining walls, concrete and stucco, chimney work, and basement work, and provides top notch service for all paving and masonry needs. My dad found success by using proper building techniques and listening to his customers' needs, and I operate Active Paving & Masonry by those same principles today. John S.
