After completing his residency at St. Luke's in Bethlehem, PA, where he won awards for research and teaching and served as Chief Resident, he decided to build a practice that reflected his vision for what an OB/GYN practice should be, family-like, but technically cutting edge; small enough for everyone to be friends, but affiliated with the largest, most awarded academic medical network in the region.
Specialties
Accent on Women's Health is in solo OB/GYN practice , where Dr. Howard Horne and his staff practice the way medicine was meant to be practiced. This means a focus on wellness and preventative care, generous appointment times, and establishing a working relationship with his patients through good communication and respect. He focuses on areas he feels are often not well addressed or afforded the time patients need in larger OB/GYN practices.
