Academy of Vocal Arts

Academy of Vocal Arts is a tuition-free institution providing voice and operatic vocal training. The full course of study at Academy of Vocal Arts lasts four years and includes voice lessons, coaching and repertoire, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Ensligh as a second language, performance classes, stage combat, movement and dance, stage make-up and acting. It also includes courses on the history of opera, history of singers, oratorio seminars, solfeges, piano lessons, care for the professional voice and opera appreciation. The Academy of Vocal Arts is an accredited, nondegree-granting member of the National Association of Schools of Music. It is located in Philadelphia.
