History

Ya-Hots Video Country Store came to life when Derek & Vicky Prince, long time residents of Yachats, purchased the existing video store, In Sheep's Clothing. The initial focus was to bring in a larger selection of foreign, documentary, independent and classic titles to create a uniquely Yachats flavor. In addition to the video store, Derek & Vicky own and operate a small, organic practices farm in the local area, so adding local produce was a natural progression and began immediately with fresh, local produce brought down river throughout the growing season. The transition into a full grocery began in 2010 with the addition of herbs and spices from the simple to the sublime. After that, the rest is history!
