With 19 recycling facilities across the United States, fifteen International Paper container board mills, and a significant national brokerage system, the company collects, consumes, and markets more than eight million tons of recovered paper annually. We collect and process this recovered paper at our own plants as well as buy paper from outside sources. The recovered paper is then used by our mills to create new paper products or is sold to other manufacturers worldwide.
