At Vesper, we teach with our very own approach to learning music. Our method focuses on personalizing lessons to each student's learning styles, interests, and strengths while still maintaining a fun atmosphere. Students find their lessons tailored to the way they learn as individuals. Private students may choose to study any musical genre as well as improvisation and composition. Vesper's teachers encourage students' artistry as well as understanding of music theory. Our teaching style fosters each student's unique talents and creativity, which leads to fun, holistic and well-crafted music lessons for students of any age. Vesper students have access to our extensive music library, frequent community events, and more performance opportunities than any other Portland music school. We are proud to employ some of Portland's most renowned musicians as our teachers, who are incredible role models for our students.
