History

This business was first owned/operated by a Korean couple who also own another restaurant in the Pearl district. As their restaurant got busier, they find it harder to operate two businesses at the same time. They began searching for a partner to help with the operation and found a Vietnamese couple who had just moved to Portland from another state. The two couples got on with each other instantly as they share a love for foods, and the expertise in restaurant operation. The Vietnamese couple have extensive knowledge and experience in food operation. The wife came from a long line of restaurant operators/owners in Viet Nam. The husband had a degree in Culinary Arts and had opened two restaurants in San Francisco in the 80s. Even though they hadn't been involved in food operation recently; they decided to get back in the food industry once they moved to Portland. It was as if fate would have had that these two couples met and joined forces to run these food establishments.
