Northwest Regional Education School District, based in Hillsboro, Ore., is an education service district. The school district s service area includes more than 170 public schools in Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook and Washington counties, spanning approximately 3,500 square miles across the northwest corner of Oregon. The schools offer educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school district s instruction and school improvement services department provides support and consultation services in curriculum and staff development to 20 component school districts. The services are designed to assist the districts in meeting the requirements of Oregon 21st Century Reform. The school district has additional service centers located in Astoria, St. Helens and Tillamook, Ore.

Our aim is to develop educational capacity. To that end our centers offer classes on a variety of subjects, exam instruction and individualized enrichment sessions. JEC serves high performing students looking for that extra edge and students who have not yet reached their academic potential. It is our belief that every student has the right to learn, to increase his or her mastery of a given subject and to realize latent talents and abilities. JEC provides superior specialized tutoring in three main areas: elementary education, middle and high school education, and college admissions. JEC's versatile and highly accomplished teaching staff help students improve their proficiency in the following major subjects such as English, math, science, history, and standardized tests including SAT and ACT. We understand that every student learns in a unique way, so we offer personalized instruction in a variety of tutoring styles, including small group workshops, small group personal tutoring, and private tutoring.
