Fields Neighborhood Park in Portland, Oregon is currently undergoing a major construction project led by Pacific Power to replace power supply cables in the Willamette River. The project involves drilling tunnels under the riverbed and will impact two-thirds of the park's grassy area for approximately twelve months.

Despite the construction, the park's popular amenities such as the dog off-leash area, playground, and oval walking path will remain open to the public. Once completed in late 2025, access to all portions of the park will be restored, providing a revitalized outdoor space for the community to enjoy.
