My approach is grounded in humanistic-existential and cognitive-behavioral therapies; however, over the years, other influences have included psychodynamic as well as strength and mindfulness-based approaches. Have you tired of the psychological jargon yet? Okay. I approach each client as having unique needs and I tailor my interventions to best fit those needs. Whether you need LGBT couple's therapy, interracial couple's therapy, or individual therapy, I can do it all. Therapy can be a life-changing process that allows clients to grow by gaining a deeper understanding of themselves. The therapy process requires an environment that the client experiences as safe. I do this best by being genuine, warm and empathic. My approach is also open and very collaborative. Collaboration in this context means that we are partnering in this venture. I will encourage you to participate in defining problems and setting goals. This is about you and I want to help you reach your therapy goals.

I'm passionate about medical care and look for ways to support people from the ground up focusing on prevention through an integrated approach that combines diet, lifestyle interventions, mindfulness and use of botanicals along with medications. I have over 20 years of medical expertise and hold a masters degree in physician assistant studies. I'm looking forward to seeing you and helping you on your journey to wellness.
