The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians is a federally recognized confederation of 27 Native American bands that originally were indigenous to the Northern California and southern Washington area. The confederated tribes occupy and manage a 3,666 acre reservation located in Lincoln County, Ore. The resources managed include timber, water and fish. Services are provided to tribal members in a Western Oregon 11 county service area, including Lincoln, Tillamook, Linn, Benton, Lane,Yamhill, Polk, Marion, Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties. The Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians own and operate, the 157,000 square foot Chinook Winds Casino Resort overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Lincoln City.
