Parts of the SCT are sketchy, no doubt. Near Johnson Creek from 82nd to about McLoughlin, you're liable to see some undomiciled Portlanders. I wouldn't ride or walk on this trail alone at night....

Just found this hike. Splits off into smaller connecting trails but allows you to explore and still go in a loop. It felt like I was way out of town in certain areas of the hike. It was amazing...
