Swanson Brothers Lumber Company, based in Noti, Ore., offers a range of products to clients. The company manufactures posts and timbers, beams and stringersa in different sizes and grades. It offers crossarm grades and sizes and also produces a range of other varieties, such as vertical-edge grain; long dimension; custom exposed beams; scaffold plank, transmission crossarms; and dimension lumber, joists and planks. The company specializes in the milling of Douglas fir, which is one of the strongest Western softwoods. Douglas fir has capabilities in impact bending, crushing strength and side hardness.
