Shiuh-Wen Luoh, M.D., Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the School of Medicine in Portland, Oregon. With expertise in cancer, specifically breast cancer, Dr. Luoh is dedicated to conducting laboratory research that translates into new treatments for patients. He received his medical degree from National Taiwan University and his Ph.D. in biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Luoh has authored numerous articles and abstracts in the field of biomedical research and is a fellow scholar of the American Society of Hematology.
Dr. Luoh completed his clinical training in internal medicine and hematology and oncology at UCLA Medical Center before joining the faculty at Oregon Health Science University (OHSU). He is also a staff physician at the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Luoh's career goal is to bring laboratory research to patient care, ultimately benefiting breast cancer patients. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
