History

I formally began practicing in 2003, but I have been treating my family and close friends long before that. I come from a multi-generation of herbalists and acupuncturists in my family, so I grew up with the knowledge my grandparents and father passed down to me. When I was a young boy, I vividly remember my grandmother treating me with acupuncture for most of my childhood ailments - from my cold and flu symptoms to minor tummy aches. My grandfather was a scholar and a self taught herbalist. I recall him absorbing every book he read about natural healing; many people in our community came to him for help. My grandfather will be 90 next year and my grandmother 89. They are exceptionally healthy and strong for their age; their minds are crystal clear and their memories are better than most. I have witnessed how Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture have immensely helped maintain their physical, as well as their mental health.
