History

SharedInk went live with a website allowing people to collaboratively design photobooks with family and friends on the internet. This service is still being used by many customers today. Immediately after opening for business, professional photographers realized that the quality of the books were ideal for creating lower cost wedding albums, guest books, proof books, and portrait albums. From 2004 on many enhancements have been made at the request of these professional photographers. The enhancements include four cover styles (metal cover, glove quality leather, clear cover and photocover books) in addition to the original linen cover, as well as foil stamping and layflat pages. Today SharedInk is located in Portland, Oregon. Professional quality books and service are focused on the needs of photographers and other creative professionals.
