SHAC, also known as the Center for Student Health and Counseling, offers a range of mental health care services. The center provides dental care and computer- and paper-based testing solutions. It offers online appointment scheduling services. SHAC provides career assessment services, as well as online resources for the emotional, physical, social, intellectual, environmental and spiritual well-being of students. The center provides group and individual counseling services. It also offers evaluation, psychotherapy, and case and medication management solutions. SHAC provides prescription refill and suicide prevention services. The center additionally organizes workshops and guest lectures. SHAC is a part of Portland State University.
