Sandy School of Dance

History

This year, 2017, Sandy School of Dance Celebrates 40 years in business in Sandy. We began with classes in Ballet, Tap and Jazz and over the years we added on more styles of dance as the industry changed. Those include Theatre dance, Lyrical jazz and Hip hop/ We still keep a strong base of Ballet as well as the standard Tap and Jazz. Miss Anna's favorite: Tap. We now have 3 teachers to acomodate the extra classes. We keep the dancers busy with many performances ranging from State fair, County fairs and TV performances, to local nursing home shows. We have had several Junior Misses from our studio as well as many talent and dance awards. Currently our Company classes perform at many large events through out the northwest.

Specialties

Sandy School of Dance, LLC, formerly Geyer School of Dance provides formal training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Hip Hop, and Theatre dance. We have classes for ages 3 through Adults. We are a family focused studio paying special attention to age appropriate music and costuming. We have small classes for individual attention. Students make friends and have fun while learning the discipline and love of dance. Fairy tale ballet is especially popular. All dancers participate in several performances during the course of the school year session.
