Quilts From Caring Hands is a volunteer-powered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Philomath, Oregon, dedicated to providing handmade quilts to at-risk children in Benton, Linn, and Marion counties. Their unique quilts, including tactile quilts for visually impaired children, are distributed through social service agencies to those facing difficult life situations.
With a mission to offer comfort and warmth to children in need, Quilts From Caring Hands has celebrated significant milestones, such as giving away their 15,000th quilt to a representative from CARDV. Supported by local businesses and foundations, this community effort has been ongoing for over 33 years, making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable youth.
