Project Erase Tattoo Removal at Outside In is a volunteer run program that has helped thousands of people erase the emotionally painful reminders of their past by removing tattoos that are social barriers. Our focus is gang, hate, criminal, drug, or domestic-violence related tattoos. The program is open, by application only, to clients who fit our income requirement (below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level). We use a Q Switched ND-Yag laser. Tattoo removal provides a gateway to employment, increased self-esteem, and improved social mobility. The program is staffed by a team of caring volunteer medical providers.
