E C Company's history goes back to Marine Electric, which was founded on Portland, Oregon's waterfront in 1927. When World War II started, it moved to its present location. In 1958, E C Company entered into an agreement with a major supplier of generator sets to sell and service their products. This was the beginning of the distribution and service arm of E C Company. Today, E C Company is a diversified, multi-division organization. Is major areas of operation are advanced technology, commercial and industrial construction, voice and data, communication, technical services, traffic signal and its Power Systems division. E C Power Systems also sells and services several product lines of commercial generators, engines and parts.
