History

Play Works in Hood River, OR is a facility dedicated to advocacy and education regarding early play experiences and its effect on speech and language development, cognitive development, self regulation, social connection, motor development, and family togetherness. We provide family centered pediatric therapy services in addition to parent education, training, and support. Our therapists are highly skilled in treating speech and language delays/disorders, motor development, social skills development, advancing feeding skills, and sensory integration . Our therapists not only work directly with your child, but also with your family and your child's educational team/related health care professionals. We believe in collaboration and education to reinforce specific skills and behaviors which will be used to improve and facilitate his/her performance and functioning.
