Phillips Electronics

History

Bob Phillips started Phillips Electronics in 1952; repairing televisions and microwave ovens as they came into use. In the early 1960s, the president of US Bank asked Bob to install alarms systems in all his banks. After inventing and patenting the devices necessary, Bob installed the first teller hold up switches and night time vault alarms. Shortly after working with US Bank, First National Bank and a number of other financial institutions, purchased alarms from Phillips, spreading our service across Oregon, Washington, California and Idaho. For the last 60 years Phillips Electronics has proudly serviced the Portland, and Vancouver areas, providing the full spectrum of security alarm needs.
