Christina's work with dogs began in 2006 when she began working at a dog daycare in Portland. She realized quickly that she had an undeniable connection with dogs and after working there for almost 4 years, she went on to begin a mentorship with Casey Newton, CPDT-KA and the Whole Dog Academy. After spending the next few years going to seminars, reading books, and observing and assisting classes, Christina became a head trainer with Wonder Puppy, a puppy parenting center in Portland. In 2013 Christina joined the Dog Adventures Northwest team, getting to take groups of dogs out on exercise adventures, and training with them in the process. In 2014 Christina started PDX Dog Quest to focus on what she loves most, getting outdoors with dogs, and helping people use positive reinforcement training to build better relationships with their dogs. Christina is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed
Christina Perez, CPDT-KA started PDX Dog Quest in 2014 to offer enrichment for dogs through walking and training. Through working with dogs for the past 8 years, and adopting two of her own along the way, Christina has become increasingly passionate for positive reinforcement training. Whether your dog is getting a basic walk, or learning new skills, you know they are in the hands of not just a dog lover, but someone with experience and education.

Christina is great! She is patient with dogs (and people) and has great instincts and guidance. She was the trainer for my dog for about six months, and helped me learn how to communicate...

I've been in the dog training business for a long time, and Christina is one of only a few dog trainers that has really impressed me. This is the lady I recommend puppy parents to all the time....
