Parenting Beyond Conflct

History

I began this work teaching the county parent ed classes for divorcing/separating parents in the Portland Oregon area in 1997. Over time I began facilitating the Parenting Beyond Conflict class to offer more support (a six-week class). Parents like the small-group setting and support, skills. My background is in law, mediation and parent education. There are now two classes offered online (helpful for folks out of county, state, country) or in person.

Specialties

Divorce support for parents, a class specifically designed for divorced/separated parents, effective communication, ways to stay out of court, keeping the focus on your children, traps to avoid. The class is Parenting Beyond Class and is offered online and also in person in my Portland office. I also offer parent coaching and supervised parenting time services.
