To make a safer place for children by equiping their parents to parent, partner, and live more successful lives. Christians As Family Advocates ( CAFA ) offers services to the community to create a safe place for children and families. CAFA is a state certified, non-profit 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) mental health agency offering services and support to adults, children and families. We have several goals as follows:

Alvord-Taylor, was founded in 1969, assists adults who are suffering from developmental disabilities. Its residential program provides ongoing training from life skills instructors. Alvord-Taylor offers assistance with personal hygiene, shopping, cooking, housekeeping, budgeting, banking, medication management, recreation and transportation. It also provides training in the areas of interpersonal communication skills, community access and safety. Its independent living program offers assistance with social activities and support in building social relationships. It also supports in establishing and maintaining entitlements and additionally assists with visits to the doctor and dentist. Alvord-Taylor is affiliated to the Oregon State Office of Developmental Disability Services to provide online referral resources. It has an administrative office in Springfield, Ore.

ShelterCare is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate housing and behavioral health services to individuals and families in need of a safe and stable home.
