Dr. Richard Martin founded Northwest Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine in 2011 after 5 years of pediatric care and advocacy in the Columbia Gorge.

As the first and only dedicated, independent pediatrics facility in the Columbia River Gorge, Northwest Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine aims to provide children and adolescents with a premier range of services previously unavailable locally. We want to make it easier for parents to help their sick children without having to go to the E.R. by being available to you beyond typical office hours. Of course...that's when kids get sick! Our team is devoted to protecting and strengthening the health and well being of children and adolescents by providing excellence in patient care, education, research, public health, and advocacy. Recognizing that health is not merely the absence of disease, we help families to develop a plan for wellness, fostering a conscious decision to shape a healthy lifestyle in our beautiful environment. We aim to be the premier team to care for children in the Columbia River Gorge, playing a leadership role in improving the health of children in our region.
