North Middle School

North Middle School, founded in 1965, is affiliated with the Grants Pass School District 7. Located in Grants Pass, Ore., the school provides a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 600 students in grades six through eight. It offers various programs, including English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. North Middle School also provides computer education, connections, counseling, health, language arts, special education and study skills programs. The school additionally offers language skills, English as a second language, strings, reading, life skills, band and geometry. It has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school.
