History
Newman's Fish Market began in 1890 as a horse and cart fish delivery business and has been selling fresh fish and seafood at various locations in downtown Eugene ever since. Fish & Chips were added as a take-out item. Newman's Grotto was opened January 2008 with an expanded Fish & Chips menu, grilled entrees, salads and soups, as well as a limited selection of fresh fish.

Newman's Grotto on Coburg Rd has a variety of Fish & Chips, grilled salmon and seafood entrees, sandwiches, Shrimp Louie salad, chowders, and daily specials for Takeout. Now you can order online from our website or the My Menu Helper app. Local canned beer available.

I would say, with some certainty, that Newman's Grotto's fish and chips was better than any I had in England. The serving was sufficient and piping hot. Give it a try.
