History

Nathan Van Amburg grew up on the Rogue River following his father around steelhead fishing. Nate is now very happy to custom-craft river trips throughout Oregon on a great number of rivers. Nate's Rogue Adventures is profoundly honored to have the opportunity to bring families and friends together for day and multi-day river trips that are just what you are looking for. We have friendly, knowledgeable, kind river guides that are great coaches as well as entertainers.

Specialties

Nate's Rogue Adventures specializes in custom crafting your Oregon River experience. We host river trips in Maupin, Bend and the Rogue Valley. We have great guides who can deliver the thrill ride as well as the chill ride, sometimes in the same boat, depending on the river. We provide specialty trips such as: Kayaking clinics, rowing schools, beer and lavish grub, wine and cheese, with all of these we have the means to please anyone's fancy, and not so fancy. We are unique in that we are able to custom craft adventures for you and your group. Being a smaller company allows us to make your agenda and idea of a perfect adventure our priority. We offer sight seeing and historical interpretation, high adrenaline class IV-V rafting, all day surf session in a tiny boat. Our premier trips are on the Wild and Scenic Rogue River where you will have the option to camp, or stay at a lodge, hike the trail or float with our knowledgeable fun guides through one of America's first designated Wild and Scenic Rivers. We also have yoga trips that serve raw and vegan meals while traveling down the river and practicing physical meditation in the rich wilderness along the rivers edge.
