History

MusicWerks was started in 2000 by Robyn Pfeifer, NCTM -Owner & Director. With her background as a musician, music therapist, teacher, and business person she saw the opportunity to provide Portland with fun, engaging, and quality music education for children. Every child is musical and every child deserves music. Our professional music teachers ensure that every child has the opportunity at fun and creative music lessons that help the student blossom in their musical ability.

Specialties

MusicWerks was started in 2000 and we have both private and group lessons in all instruments and all ages. We offer a complete music education with professional music teachers for ages Birth - Adult. Our complete music lessons include the traditional lesson while incorporating technology, student recordings, free specialty classes and more throughout the year. Our students develop a strong foundation in music fundamentals while having fun. Music lessons are tailored to the student. Our lessons include piano, guitar, a wide range of strings, and voice instruction, as well as Theory, Composition, and Specialty courses. Our music education focuses on making you or your child an active music maker that can play and fully enjoy music. We have multiple locations in NE, SE, and SW Portland.
