Miller Carpet One got its start in 1966 when LeRoy Nelson purchased $360 worth of carpet samples and decided to open up his carpet shop in Rainier, Oregon. Over 53 years later Columbia River Carpet One Floor & Home is still offering the best flooring and home products and services in Rainier, Oregon, and now in Longview Washington as Miller Carpet One. Today, Miller Carpet One Floor & Home is owned by Jim Miller. Jim has always wanted to be an entrepreneur and was looking for a new adventure after spending his career as a financial advisor for Edward Jones and decided to finally take the leap of faith. He has great business acumen with a wealth of knowledge on how to run and manage a business and now gets to use it directly in his day-to-day by running a store. He knew of and always respected Carpet One which is what made him decide to purchase this business and continue offering quality products and services to the area.
