Located less than 1 block to the beach, McBee Cottages celebrate the best of an old-fashioned family trip to the Oregon coast. Built in the 1940's, this motor inn has been renovated to reflect the charm and character of the period with sparkling white bead board walls, schoolhouse light fixtures and box beam ceilings. The ten attached cottages offer a combination of separate sleeping rooms or nooks with queen beds, living areas with sofas and kitchenettes, gas fireplaces, and comfortable furnishings. Guests can take advantage of a manicured lawn complete with stone fire pit, propane barbecue grill, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables and informal flower gardens. This appealing property is completely pet-friendly and a short stroll to downtown.

Would never stay there again... charming but run down , needs to be updated... smoke detectors not working, blew breakers trying to use microwave...you have to ask for towels if you stay a lengthy...

dont stay in room 28. i do not know if every room was like this but randomly the bar next to the shower kept falling off despite it being seemingly secure in place. the hot and cold is in reverse...

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at McBee Cottage #35. It was the perfect location to be able to walk to everything in town and just a block to the beach to watch the sunset over Haystack Rock....
