Madrone Trail Public Charter School

The Siskiyou School is an educational institution that provides a range of academic, religious and recreational programs for more than 600 students in grades one through eight. Through more than 20 classroom and over 10 specialty teachers, it offers classes in language arts, literature, mathematics and art. The Siskiyou School also provides instruction in Spanish, physical education, music, dance, painting, drawing and modeling. It offers learning opportunities in the areas related to creative writing, spelling, reading, report writing, note taking, researching, drama and elements of style. Additionally, the school maintains a parent-teacher association that organizes several fundraising activities and events, as well as works coordination services for family involvement in schools activities. The Siskiyou School is located in Ashland, Ore.

Rurally located six miles south of Grants Pass, Oregon, New Hope's 32-acre campus has 40, 000 square feet for classrooms, gymnasium, lunchroom, offices, observatory, shop area, and storage. There are also 13 campus residences with three of those for housing international students. In addition, an oval track and full-size gymnasium provide excellent facilities for intramural and interscholastic sports competition in cross country, volleyball, basketball, and track. As a current member of OSAA, the school provides athletic competition with other 1A schools of Southern Oregon.
