Kalapuya Books is an independent bookstore located in Cottage Grove, Oregon, paying tribute to the Kalapuya, the First People of the land. With a wide selection of rare, new, and used books, as well as locally crafted artwork, the store aims to be a hospitable community hub, offering books on pioneer history, Native Peoples, Buddhism, sustainability, metaphysics, and poetry.

Managed by Betsy Hal, who has authored award-winning books and has a background in tree planting, Kalapuya Books has been a proud member of Cottage Grove's downtown Main Street community since 1997. Housed in the historic Burkholder Woods Building, the bookstore shares the space with the Axe Fiddle Public House, creating an authentic and integral venue that inspires and serves the community.
