I stopped in on a recent trip to Portland, and I am so glad I did! There are a lot of stairs here. None to get in the building, but a few to get into the gallery and then to go down to the bottom...

Located in downtown Portland on the South Park Blocks, the museum presents exhibitions by regional, national, and international artists and offers creative, educational, and research opportunities for PSU students, faculty, and the Portland community. Businessman and philanthropist Jordan D. Schnitzer made a $5 million contribution through the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation to create the first art museum at PSU, which is one of the most vibrant and accessible urban universities in Oregon.

This is a new two level gallery in a newly remodeled building. The building was Neuberger Hall, home to registration. Compared to many museums it is not large. But it has free admission going...

A great, free art museum in downtown Portland. They rotate exhibits frequently so it's an interesting place to swing by if your at the farmers market!

The works I noted in my previous review are no longer on display. At the moment the facility is showcasing an extensive collection of Arvie Smith and Daniel Duford works.
