Brought my kids here for a Sunday Funday adventure. There was a nice mix of shaded areas and sunny places to watch for birds and see all different kinds of flowers. I'm not from around these parts...

Beautiful trails, saw loads of wildlife, and felt safe walking alone. The employees at the nature center were also kind enough to help me ID different birds I took pictures of.

What a great place for a stroll and some bird watching. They have a few raised platforms to help you see over the shrubs and out into the marshes and river banks.
