Hosford Middle School

Hosford Middle School is an educational institution that provides learning opportunities to more than 500 students in grades six through eight. It offers Spanish and Mandarin Immersion programs. The school also provides language study courses for nonimmersion students. Hosford Middle School operates chess, dance, knitting and homework clubs. It has partnerships with the Morrison Center, Portland Police Sunshine, Lauro Kitchen and Noho s Restaurant. The school also offers classes in band, orchestra, computer application, art and ceramics. Hosford Middle School has a staff of a student management specialist, counselor and librarian, as well as teachers, secretaries and educational assistants. It provides talented and gifted education, English as a Second Language and advisory programs. Hosford Middle School is located in Portland, Ore.
