History

My previous job was helping out a quadriplegic woman. She had been a massage therapist before she was hit by a drunk driver. She taught me how to massage her and I saw how it relaxed her muscles (even though she couldn't feel what I was doing). I had already been receiving massage and knew first hand it's benefits but this experience confirmed the power of the modality and eventually lead me to massage school and a new career.
