Established in 1906, the Fruit & Flower Childcare Center is one of the leading child care programs in Oregon that provides assistance to families in need. It has programs for children up to the age of 5. The center also provides breakfasts, lunches and snacks prepared on site. The Fruit & Flower Childcare Center also offers families with the opportunity to participate in a variety of child-centered activities. Its each classroom features a dramatic play area, book corner and tactile tub. The center also features an outdoor area with age appropriate opportunities for running, riding wheeled toys, climbing, sliding and playing with balls and hoops. The Fruit & Flower Childcare Center makes children explore art materials, puzzles and stringing activities. Its teachers provide students with opportunities to experience music through singing, playing rhythm instruments and listening.
