Friends-the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument

The Friends of Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument is dedicated to the protection, restoration, and conservation of one of North America's most biologically diverse landscapes. Established over 20 years ago, the organization engages in advocacy, education, and community involvement to promote stewardship of the monument's unique ecosystems.

Located at the convergence of the ancient Siskiyou and Klamath Mountains with the younger volcanic Cascade Mountains, the monument encompasses a rich mosaic of forests, woodlands, grasslands, wet meadows, and interior desert. Visitors can explore this 114,000-acre area, home to over 300 species of birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians, many of which are rare or endemic to the region.
