I love this library so much. It's very warm and welcoming and is definitely a true safe space for everyone. I have been here for events and also just to browse and hang out and I always enjoy it....

The Friends of Eugene Public Library is dedicated to advocating for and supporting the Eugene Public Library, playing a vital role in enhancing literacy and community services in the area. Through their book sale activities and membership contributions, they provide essential financial support for various library programs, including summer reading initiatives and author talks.
In addition to offering a curated selection of gently used books at their Second Hand Prose shop, the organization engages a network of dedicated volunteers who sort, price, and manage the sale of thousands of donated books. By recycling and promoting the use of these books, they help keep valuable resources in circulation while minimizing waste in the community.
